Offshore Fishing
We’re heading ten miles out into the Gulf of Mexico to target some of Florida’s most iconic species at some of our favorite wrecks, reefs, and drop-offs. We have mapped out hundreds of spots over the past few decades of fishing the Gulf. We pick the best areas based on the time of year we know are holding certain species. If a certain wreck or reef is slow, we’re heading to the next one to ensure you’re getting the best chance for some epic fishing.
Captain Jeff will fill in with us during busy times of the year. Originally from Texas, Jeff came on board two years ago, assisting with trips. After spending some time with Boat US, he started guiding fishing trips with us. He’s incredibly safe, knowledgeable, and knows our local waters well.
Target Species
Our offshore trips yield the biggest fish and the most memorable fights. You can expect about a 35-minute ride to the gulf filled with beautiful coastline and wildlife.
Target species include Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, Kingfish, Permit, Shark, Bonito, Barracuda, King Mackerel, Key West Grunts, and many other species!
Depending on the season and conditions, we can set up the outriggers to troll for Spanish Mackerel and King Mackerel using spoons, drones, and plugs. Occasionally we’ll drift or slow-troll with blue runners.
Where We Fish
Meet us at the marina, where we’ll help you on the boat, load the cooler with your beverages and snacks, and then set off. We’re running ten miles offshore to some of our favorite fishing grounds. Over the years, we’ve mapped hundreds of spots that produce fish. We pick certain areas based on the time of year and weather conditions.
We’re bottom fishing along structure, usually with one to two lines off the back of the boat, while you’re jigging a mix of live bait and artificials for different wreck species. We’re always trying to double our advantage for catching a trophy and filling the cooler.
